Nowhere else in the east end of Toronto will you get this vantage point of a sunset over the city. Broadview Ave overlooks Riverdale Park East, with downtown's high rises in the background. the patio at beloved Rooster Coffee House is always very welcoming, and so it its staff!

 

While you wait for your sunset, stroll down the park to access the walkway crossing over the Don River and take the stairs down to explore the Lower Don Valley Trail. Going northbound, you will discover a wonderful gargoyle park. You heard right! Fourteen sculptures by Duane Linklater added in 2017 to delightful us.
