Kensington/Chinatown
TRULY ECLECTIC STROLL
WALK 9
COLOURFUL AND FUNKY MIX

MINDSET: When you want to take a walk on the wild side... of Toronto.

OK. This is not exactly a walk to burn off calories. You'll want to stop every ten metres to explore it all. There truly is a special vibe to both high-density neighbourhoods offering a unique combo of residential and commercial.
Kensington Market, where old bargain stores mingle with slick urban boutiques and vintage shops sit next to bulk ethnic markets, is funkier and more laidback. Nearby Chinatown means business. Its exotic shops and restaurants along Spadina and Dundas are bustling with busy people, all the way to the AGO. In both neighbourhoods, carnivores and vegetarians mix peacefully and colourful murals and graffiti add to the eclectic appeal.
