BELTLINE STROLL
WALK 17
FOR LONG CONVERSATIONS

MINDSET: When you need a straightforward walk to avoid the crowds and foster great conversations... or better listen to your inner voice.
14,925 steps (9.7 km, 2 hr 25)

You can walk and talk and get deep into conversation with your companion without fear of getting lost along this straight-line stroll. The Beltline Trail is Toronto's longest and narrowest park (so narrow in fact that you won't see it on a regular map). trees lining it on both sides form arches over our heads on many parts of the trail, making it the best fall outing for walkers. Running through posh neighbourhoods, it once was a train track built by private interests to solve commuter transportation problems in the 1890's.
When you're ready to get back to civilization, there's a lovely stretch of Eglinton West to explore.
